Production Blog: Preparing for Review

      Hello Cambridge! We will be showing someone our finished movie soon, and I am very nervous. Since the whole movie is not completed, I think they could be very confused by this snippet of the full movie. While I personally am not confused, I think this could be because I know the full story, and an outside observer might be disoriented. I think this is why it's good to get a peer review, so that someone who hasn't been working on your project can tell you what a general audience will think.     I also am concerned as to if we will have to make changes. We have struggled to be able to make a date and time to record normally, and a shorter notice will make this even worse. At least if we have to just edit, we won't have to dress Amelie up again in her crazy person clothes. But still, we would all need to be their to make decisions, so it is important that we don't have any scheduling conflicts. I am fine to do almost whenever, but Lilly and Amelie can't do S...

Production Blog- A hiccup in the road

      Hello Cambridge! We haven't started recording yet, but we've still got work to do. First of all, I need to be able to believably play the song in the video, or at the very least the chorus. So, over the past week, I've been trying to learn the song through tabs, which show the fret that you need to play on each string. This song is actually tuned down a little bit from the normal, which is the first song I've ever learned with alternate tuning. A big drawback of using tabs to learn a song is that it does not tell you when to play different parts, so I don't really know for certain I'm playing at the right times for the verses. However, I can play the chorus to perfection, along with the bridge, which will likely be the only part of the song that we will be playing.
